We echo the voices of million adolescents of Bangladesh and pledge that I will buy healthier snacks with my pocket money.
We, the adolescents of Bangladesh, often eat unhealthy food during our tiffin periods which do not help prepare us to chase our dreams. However, we do have the control over how our pocket money should be spent, and also have the voice to not only bring a change in our habits but also in our society as a whole. Hereby, we pledge today to use our pocket money to buy healthier snacks. As there are limited options for tasty yet healthier foods, we all would need to work together with manufacturers and policy makers, in order to change the way food is being produced, manufactured and sold so that we can make tasty, healthier choices every day. That is why we take this pledge today, because we want to eat well, live well.
To get a wider range of healthy and affordable food options, we will need to work together with our parents, teachers, food manufacturers, retailers and policy makers. As individuals, we can change ourselves but together, we can change Bangladesh.

Nutritious foods are extremely important as they help us maintain our health, boost us with energy, make us feel better, stronger and energized. If we want to dream big and make those dreams come alive, the best way is to eat right and healthy!
